ALPS Founding Secretary Ryan Crews, PhD, CCRP, Honored with APMA Award of Excellence

 

ALPS is pleased to congatulate Ryan Crews, PhD, CCRP, on receiving the 2026 American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) Award of Excellence, a national honor presented to individuals who have demonstrated outstanding accomplishments in scientific, professional, or civic endeavors.

The award was formally presented during the APMA House of Delegates meeting, held March 14–15, 2026, in Washington, D.C. Ryan Crews, who is also ALPS Founding Secretary, was nominated by Janet Simon, DPM, with the nomination supported by several colleagues, and the award was presented by APMA President Brooke A. Bisbee, DPM.

Dr. Crews has been widely recognized for his contributions to research, collaboration, and professional engagement within podiatric medicine and limb preservation. His work has supported interdisciplinary partnerships across clinical, academic, and professional communities, helping advance evidence‑based approaches to lower‑extremity care.

A long‑standing member of the ALPS community, Dr. Crews’ recognition by APMA reflects not only his individual achievements, but also the broader impact of collaborative efforts aligned with ALPS’ mission to advance limb preservation worldwide.
