EWMA: Bremen (May 6-8)
We are pleased to announce that the 36th Conference of the European Wound Management Association will take place jointly with the DEWU Deutscher Wundkongress on 6-8 May 2026 in Bremen, Germany.
The conference is organised in cooperation with the German Wound Congress (DEWU Deutscher Wundkongress) and the association of the national German-speaking associations (WundD.A.CH) and in collaboration with the German Chronic Wounds Initiative (ICW) and the German Wound Council (Deutscher Wundrat e. V.).
EWMA-DEWU 2026 will feature high quality sessions & presentations, numerous workshops and e-poster presentations as well as a large industry exhibition where you can meet various companies within wound care.

WUWHS: Kuala Lumpur (23-27 September)
The World Union of Wound Healing Societies (WUWHS) is honoured to announce its flagship WUWHS Congress 2026, taking place from 23 to 27 September 2026, at the prestigious Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. Under the theme “Global Paradigm Shift: Wound Care Specialty and Recognition,” this congress will convene leading clinicians, researchers, industry partners, and policymakers from around the world to advance wound care as a recognised specialty and raise standards of patient-centred practice.
DFSICON: Bengaluru (1-4 October)
DFSICON 2026 returns to Bengaluru with four days of science you can use on Monday morning. From bedside decisions to system-level pathways, the program is designed for the full limb-preservation team—physicians and diabetologists; vascular, plastic, orthopedic and podiatric surgeons; nurses and wound specialists; physiotherapists; prosthetists & orthotists; researchers; and health technologists.
You’ll see what’s working, where the evidence is shifting, and how multidisciplinary care prevents amputations in the real world. Expect sharp plenaries, case-based discussions, live demonstrations, and translational sessions that bridge guidelines, workflow, and technology. The focus is practical: clearer diagnostics, faster healing, fewer readmissions, better function.

DFCon: Anaheim (22-24 October)
On October 22-24, the 26th edition of the Global Interdisciplinary Diabetic Foot Conference (DFCon) is scheduled to take place in Anaheim, CA. This event provides a unique opportunity for members in the world-wide Diabetic Foot Space to discover, interact & collaborate with one another.
Each year, DFCon gathers influential speakers and delivers outstanding scientific content. This three-day conference allows the best in their field to come together and learn from each other. DFCon also serves as a hands-on, dynamic congress where delegates can use the experience to immediately bring impact to their daily clinical practice. You will learn more about the different topics and sessions on the following pages.
DFCon is widely acknowledged as being a leader in discovery. Next-generation endovascular therapies, wearable robots, spray-on skin, sociomicrobiology, smart textiles, phage therapy, augmented reality and injectable sensors have all made their debut at DFCon.

DFU: San Antonio (5-6 December)
We’re thrilled to welcome you to the revival of The Diabetic Foot Update (DFUpdate)—a landmark meeting in diabetic foot care, originally led by Professor Lawrence B. Harkless from 1984 to 2007. This year’s focus on the PAD, a complex and often under-recognized complication of diabetes, offers a timely opportunity for clinicians to explore innovative strategies and collaborate across disciplines. DFUpdate is designed not just as a source of knowledge, but as a dynamic forum for discussion, connection, and clinical transformation.
