Introduction
Appropriate staging of a wound and/or limb is key to facilitating an optimal, timely treatment plan in high-risk patients. Accordingly, we have noted a few published resources providing guidelines for the assessment and management of diabetic foot ulcerations (DFUs) and chronic limb-threating ischemia (CLTI). This brief compendium also includes recent reports validating the use of the Global Limb Anatomic Staging System (GLASS) as well as the Wound, Ischemia, and foot Infection (WIfI classification system).
