California —The American Limb Preservation Society (ALPS) and the American Foot Care Nurses Association (AFCNA) have announced a new affiliation aimed at strengthening multidisciplinary collaboration, expanding educational opportunities, and advancing best practices in limb preservation and diabetic foot care.
“We are delighted to officially affiliate with the American Foot Care Nurses Association (AFCNA),” said Georgia Krehbiel, MBA, CEO of ALPS.
“At ALPS, we are committed to representing the full continuum of specialties essential to multidisciplinary limb preservation. Our collaboration with AFCNA will help expand access to education, strengthen professional engagement, and foster greater collaboration across the limb preservation community. We look forward to welcoming AFCNA members to upcoming ALPS events, including DFCon 2026 in October and DFUpdate 2026 in December, and to building a strong and lasting partnership.”
